Portland, Maine – The U.S. Department of
Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) will sponsor
“Getting It Right – Know Your Fiduciary Responsibilities,” a free
compliance assistance seminar, in Portland on October 16 at the Sheraton
South Portland.
This seminar is part of EBSA’s national fiduciary
education campaign to increase awareness and understanding of basic
responsibilities associated with operating private sector retirement
plans. Partners include the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, the Society for Human Resource Management, the National
Federation of Independent Business and the U.S. Small Business
Administration.
