The ILO’s SCORE program is a training program designed to increase the productivity of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) while promoting recognition of and respect for the ILO’s international labor standards and improving working conditions. SCORE provides “training of trainers” for government agencies, industry associations and trade unions, and other organizations, which then deliver the training program to SMEs. SCORE is currently active in emerging economies throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and as of July 2019, more than 2,100 SMEs have received SCORE training in 11 countries, representing a total workforce of more than 403,000 people.
